Norwin Chamber Ambassadors

Grand Openings and ribbon cutting ceremonies are great ways to introduce a new business to the community, herald a significant new service, or make people aware of your move to a new location. Throughout the year, the Chamber has a number of opportunities to participate in these tremendous promotional opportunities. Our Ambassadors from the Chamber’s Membership Committee go out to meet support the owners of the new businesses and participate in ribbon cuttings and Grand Opening celebrations.

These activities are of benefit to everyone. Our volunteer Ambassadors get to meet first hand with the owners of companies that may become customers or future service suppliers. New companies meet prospective new business partners and potential customers. The public has an inviting opportunity to see how their business community is growing.

If you know of a new business in the area that might wish to join the Chamber and participate in a ribbon cutting, we can:

• Meet, greet, and welcome them to the Norwin business community.

• Provide a press release to all newspapers, radio, and television in the area.

• Provide ribbon and replica scissors for the occasion.

• Email all members concerning the event, and (if timely), include a free insert concerning the event in the monthly VocalPoint newsletter.

In business, as in community life, there is no substitute for being a good neighbor. There is much satisfaction to be gained from helping local businesses succeed, and as we help the community grow, our own businesses cannot help but enjoy the rising tide of that success.
